A very warm welcome to Immanuel

Welcome to Immanuel! We're a relatively new church congregation; being formed out of St Mark's Church, Kempshott when the first homes were built in Hatch Warren just over 20 years ago. Wonderfully, someone had a vision to build the church within the new Church of England Primary School, so we share the building with St Mark's CofE (VA) Primary School and have an excellent relationship with them.

So all in all, in terms of our building, Immanuel is a rather unique church. However, we are also no different to THE church - because the church isn't all about the buiding! The church is about how we show and share the love of Jesus in and around our community and we seek to do that as best we can. We serve God in enabling people to know and love Him and his life transforming presence.

God loves each and every one of us unconditionally. It doesn't matter about where any of us are from, or where we've been, we welcome all and aim to include everyone in our worship and community.

As the parish church of Hatch Warren & Beggarwood, we are committed to provide pastoral care and support to all the residents of the two estates. We love and it is an immense privilege to baptise, marry and even to help families and friends say farewell to their loved one at a funeral. You don't have to be a regular at our services to call upon us.

We hope that you find this site easy to navigate. We're currently in the process of building a new website that we hope will be launched before the end of the year - we know this site is far from perfect! If you can't find what you're looking for, please let us know. If you're looking for information on Baptisms, Weddings or Funerals, they are under the 'Life Events' menu. Enjoy browsing this site and we hope to see you at Immanuel soon. You might also like to have a look at our Facebook page (facebook.com/immanuelhwb) that has constantly changing news and information about what we're up to as a church community.

We'd love to welcome you to Immanuel sometime.

Textgiving: Are you able to help us and support the work we do in the community?  We don't receive any external funding other than what is given generously by our members and through fundraising. You can now give by text - £1, £3, £5 or £10 by texting 'IHWB22' followed by the amount you wish to give (for example; 'IHWB22 £3') to 70070. A simple way of giving and Immanuel receives all of what you give. Like us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/immanuelhwb
